Songs For Slim

One of many vinyl 45s in the Songs For Slim series, an effort to pay tribute to and raise money for fallen Replacements guitarist, the great Bob 'Slim' Dunlap.  Scott and Peter, with Decemberists John Moen and Nate Query, tackle 'Rockin' Here Tonight' and Slim's old compadre and bandmate Curtiss A handles the lead vocal.  The flip is by Minneapolis stalwarts Tim O'Reagan of the Jayhawks and ex-Son Volter Jim Boquist with help from Paul Westerberg on additional guitars and vocals.  Awesome Chris Mars cover art.
